Theatre Field Studies  

Spend: 7 days, 6 nights in New York City (July 14-20, 2009)

NOTE: Collin College is NOT offering the New York Theatre Field Studies class during the summer of 2010.  Check back for information regarding the class/trip during the summer of 2011.

Previous trips have included such shows as AVENUE Q, WICKED, SPRING AWAKENING, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, RENT, CABARET @ Studio 54, THE LION KING, IN THE HEIGHTS, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, CHICAGO, JERSEY BOYS, FOSSE, AIDA, CHICAGO, ANGELS IN AMERICA, MISS SAIGON, Ralph Fiennes in HAMLET, and many more!!!
Visit: Attend classes at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College and the Juilliard School of Drama.
Earn: 3 hours of college credit (DRAM 1323.NYC - Summer II)
Meet: Actors, directors, designers, writers, musicians, stage & company managers

Cost: $1,500 plus food, souvenirs, etc. (payable in 3 installments)
Deadline: Your application for the New York Theatre Field Studies Program must be received and approved by March 30.  Your first payment of $500 is also due by March 30.  Subsequent payments of $500 each are due by April 27 and May 26.
